More than 50 students in the band program participated in one of seven All-Region bands at either Frisco High School or Heritage High School on Friday.

“It was definitely an honor getting to perform for one of the region bands this year,” junior percussionist Haden Bennett said. “This year I worked harder than ever to achieve my goal of making a band and this year the work definitely paid off.”

Students across Frisco ISD, Plano ISD, and, Little Elm ISD were only able to participate in one of the All-Region bands if they placed high enough in the audition process for their respective instrument.

“I’m definitely impressed by the achievements that our students accomplish every year,” assistant band director Zach Anderson said. “It definitely doesn’t surprise me. All of these students worked so hard during the months leading up to their performance and it was very clear to us as directors.”
