Students have been working on a project that photojournalism teacher, Carol Babineaux, calls the working photographer.

Students have a list of projects they must choose from such as taking pictures of landscapes, city life, street photography, and even wildlife.

Much like a photojournalist, the students do whatever project they choose and turn it in within the given timeframe.

“From this I hope the students will learn the process of actually working as a photojournalist instead of just going out and taking pictures when they want to or random things they’re having to take them for a purpose, and it’s just a chance for them to grow more as professional photographers,” photojournalism teacher Carole Babineaux said.
