Early voting underway
Both city and school district elections May 6

Both Frisco ISD and city of Frisco elections are underway with early voting having started Monday.
Six months after voters across the nation went to the polls for the presidential race, local residents are heading back to the voting booth to cast votes in both city and school district elections.
On a city level, Mayor Maher Maso is leaving office with Bob Allen and Jeff Cheney running to fill his spot.
Also on the ballot are candidates to fill Place 5 and Place 6 on the city council.
In Frisco ISD, there are two positions up for grabs as Places 4 and 5 are on the ballot.
Frisco ISD Board of Trustee candidates are elected at-large to three years terms.
Early voting began Monday and ends May 2 with Election Day Saturday, May 6.
Early voting hours:
Through Saturday
8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (extended hours until 7 p.m. at Collin County locations Friday)
Monday-Tuesday
7 a.m. – 7 p.m. (Collin and Denton County locations)
Polling locations (Collin County residents must vote at a Collin County location and Denton County residents must vote at a location in Denton County. The locations listed below are not the only places to vote.)
