Before seniors can officially graduate on Saturday, there is a mandatory graduation rehearsal Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in the competition gym.

If seniors do not attend, they will not be able to participate in the graduation ceremony Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Dr Pepper Arena.

“It’s important to attend,” assistant principal Stacey Whaling said. “It gets confusing when you get in [the arena], and it’s good to be familiar on where you’re going.”

Although many seniors were not on campus this week, class of 2017 graduate Alana Nickma says she understands the need for a rehearsal.

“It’s important that everyone knows what to expect from graduation to ensure that graduation runs smoothly,” Nickman said.

Guest tickets for graduation will be distributed at Thursday’s rehearsal.
