Auditions for the theatre department’s winter play, Epic Proportions by David Crane and Larry Coen, will take place Tuesday starting at 4:15 p.m. with callbacks on Thursday after school. Anybody can audition for the play and no rehearsal is required.

Although students often suggest plays, the decision to go with Epic Proportions is mostly made by one person.

“I help choose the plays, but they come to me with suggestions occasionally,” theatre director Stephanie Winters said. “Most of the time they’re looking at what role will be good for them and I have to look at what role will be good for the department, so I end up making the play decisions, but they make most of the decisions for the club like what they want to do.”
