The library will be hosting Teen Read Week Oct. 19-23 with various activities and giveaways attached to the event.

The library is celebrating Teen Read Week, an initiative by Young Adult Library Services Association, next week Monday through Friday. The program will feature activities and giveaways throughout the week.
“It’s to encourage teens to be regular readers and library users,” librarian Jeana Chetty said. “We hope the activities and giveaways we do this week remind kids how much they like to sit down with a good book at the library.”
