Wingspan: How did you know you were good at swimming?

Oh: “I’m really not that good but I realized I was pretty decent when I got second last year at regionals.”

Wingspan: How do you work towards your goals?

Oh: “I try to practice everyday, and never quit.”

Wingspan: What is the hardest part of the sport, in your opinion?

Oh: “Not being able to breathe all the time.”

Wingspan: How do you keep yourself motivated?

Oh: “I always think about my final goal, which is getting faster by the day.”

Wingspan: How do you practice, and how often?

Oh: “I practice like every rep is my last and I practice twice a day, five times a week.”

Wingspan: Why do you like swimming more than other sports?

Oh: “Because my mind is most relaxed when I’m swimming.”

Wingspan: What’s your favorite stroke?

Oh: “Breaststroke, because it’s my best stroke.”

Wingspan: How do you plan to pursue swimming in the future?

Oh: “I plan to keep swimming for my club team and hope that I get offers from colleges to swim for them.”
