Wingspan: How did you become interested in soccer?

Parks: “My whole family played it, so i basically had to.”

Wingspan: What position do you play and why?

Parks: “Center mid because they get the ball a lot.”

Wingspan: How do you balance school and soccer?

Parks: “It’s not that hard that’s basically all i do, play soccer and do homework. It’s easy to focus on those two.”

Wingspan: What does your training schedule look like? How often do you practice?

Parks: “I train everyday for school and for club we usually train twice a week and then we have a game on the weekends.”

Wingspan: How do you plan to pursue this for the future?

Parks: “I plan on playing in college”

Wingspan: Do you have a specific routine before playing a game?

Parks: “ A pre game playlist and our team does this little dance circle before every game.”

Wingspan: What was your biggest accomplishment?

Parks: “Probably winning state cup two years in a row.”

Wingspan: Have you ever gotten any serious injuries from playing?

Parks: “Yes, I broke my chin in 7th grade.”

Wingspan: What motivates you?

Parks: “Wanting to win and wanting to be better than the person next to me.”
