As the new school year begins, many changes entail, but one change that will hopefully go unnoticed is the staff and work of Wingspan. Although losing the founding seniors of Wingspan was a difficult goodbye, staff both returning and new, are ready to lead the site.

Wingspan was established in August 2015 under adviser Brian Higgins. If you want to know about our history, mission, and awards, visit our About Us tab in the upper right hand corner of our homepage. Wingspan intends to be a reliable news source for the school and community where you’ll find updated news, opinions and reviews, and other helpful school links.

Taking over as Editors-in-chief, sophomore Megan Lin and senior Olivia Kirklin, with juniors Brooke Colombo, Keegan Williams and sophomore Emma Crampton part of the leadership team with more positions to be filled.

On the broadcast side, seniors Eilidh McGarva and Maddie Owens are the new Executive Producers of Wingspan TV.

In the next week or so, feel free to visit our Staff section to learn about all of our other staff members. We encourage you to keep up with Wingspan and give us your opinions.
