Wingspan: What’s the hardest thing about swimming?

Cole: “The hardest thing is swimming 3000 to 4000 yards every morning and afternoon every day 6 days a week”

Wingspan: When did you start swimming?

Cole: “When I was six”

Wingspan: Why did you want to start swimming?

Cole: “My dad swam when he was younger so he wanted me to start”

Wingspan: What’s one of the biggest challenges?

Cole: “A big challenge is doing well in high school season because there are a lot of people from other district and teams that are also good so it’s hard to make it out past regionals.”

Wingspan: How do you prepare for each meet?

Cole: “I get a get a good nights rest, I eat a lot of carbs before, especially pasta noodles right before the race because they give you fast energy.”

Wingspan: What are your best memories?

Cole: “Some of my best memories are our team pasta parties and and get togethers because my team is my favorite part about swimming.”
