Since the beginning of the school year, students in world history classes have been given their own book of knowledge as a guideline with all of the questions, pictures and articles laid out for them, but for the rest of the school year they will have to build it themselves.

“The big part is that ownership in your work versus us just giving you something and just putting down answers,” history teacher Ashley Mayfield said. “You have to create the page from scratch whether it’s creating the template coming up with a different way to show the answers finding the answers a little more on your own versus us just giving them to you.”

This project can also help student prepare for next year’s history class and the more responsibilities that can come with it.
