It’s spring break part two for the band and orchestra has they head out on Friday for a three day weekend trip to Corpus Christi.

“I’m really excited to go,” junior Kennedy Williams said. “I did not go on the band trip last year, so it will be nice to wind down after a long and exhausting season.”

While in Corpus Christi, they will attend a Baylor Wind Ensemble Rehearsal on Friday and participate in clinics with Baylor University Band Directors.

“I want to see the Wind Ensemble rehearsal,” junior Alexis Jennings said. “They’re experienced players, and I think we will learn a lot.”

Saturday and Sunday are beach days, and the students will be able to spend two whole days on the sand with chaperones.

“I’m looking forward to playing ultimate frisbee with my friends,” senior Charlie Maddi said. “There’s gonna be a DJ party that night which should be really fun.”
