The NFL Draft is at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Thursday through Saturday, and on Friday, nine  Redhawk football players will be there courtesy of the NFL providing 200 tickets for football players and coaches from FISD to experience an inside look at the league.

“I’m pretty excited because it’s a unique experience,” junior Ryan Coyne said. “I’m probably only going to get to do it once in my life.”

Taking Thursday off, assistant football coach Kenneth Schiumo went to the draft to cheer on his favorite team, the New York Jets.

“The atmosphere was electric,” Schiumo said. “The seats I actually got once we got inside the draft were standing room only seats. Originally I was like ‘great, standing room only’. It ended up being right over the select few that got to sit down in front of the stage. It was actually really close and everybody was standing up and all the fans were kind of intermingled and everybody was real excited.”
