Running from the rain
The cross country team competed in their first meet of the year with top finishes. They are back running on Saturday at the Southlake Carroll Invitational.

Projected thunderstorms and over a 50 percent chance of rain on Saturday aren’t stopping cross country from heading to Bob Jones Park in Southlake for the Southlake Carroll Invitational starting at 7:00 a.m. Saturday.
“Southlake’s usually our fastest meet,” Manning said. “We get a lot of PR’s hopefully the weather will hold off and we’ll get good weather on Saturday, and do the same as we did last year which is a lot of PR’s and fun.”
