Since losing its first District 9-5A game to Wakeland, the Redhawks have soared to seven straight wins after beating Heritage 3-0 on Tuesday. Next up for the team, a battle for first place with Lebanon Trail on Friday at The Nest.

The wins keeping adding up for the volleyball team. Travelling to Heritage on Tuesday, the Redhawks defeated the Coyotes 3-0 (25-5, 25-17, 25-20) to for their seventh straight win.

“I thought we played really well,” junior Kyla Crawford said. “I wasn’t really surprised about anything last night because I know our abilities as a team and as individuals of all 14 of us.”

With another win under their belt the team is confident in their success.

“I thought everyone played really well last night against Heritage,” junior Lauren Ransom said.  “It was a very controlled game and a good win for us. It feels really good to be winning games and hopefully we’ll keep up our winning streak through the rest of district.”
