The wins keeping adding up for the volleyball team. Travelling to Heritage on Tuesday, the Redhawks defeated the Coyotes 3-0 (25-5, 25-17, 25-20) to for their seventh straight win.

“I thought we played really well,” junior Kyla Crawford said. “I wasn’t really surprised about anything last night because I know our abilities as a team and as individuals of all 14 of us.”

With another win under their belt the team is confident in their success.

“I thought everyone played really well last night against Heritage,” junior Lauren Ransom said.  “It was a very controlled game and a good win for us. It feels really good to be winning games and hopefully we’ll keep up our winning streak through the rest of district.”

Catie Reeves is a junior and is starting her third year in Wingspan, her first as Sports Editor. She is a part of cross country and track and you will most likely find her at all of their meets. In addition to running an excessive amount of miles each day, Catie can most likely beat you in a handstand competition. Her favorite thing to order anywhere is sweet tea, which she drinks more often than water. Catie is excited to continue writing and is looking forward to what this year in Wingspan brings.
