Redhawk football will take on their first conference game in District 5-5A against Independence on Friday at 7:00 p.m.

With this being the first game without lightning delays and rain, football will take advantage of the change in tempo.

“I’m a center so it’s hard to snap the ball when it’s wet,” junior Damian Stuver said. “I’m hoping that we win. I think practices have been good this week. I think we are going to win.”
