Football battled the Heritage Coyotes at Toyota Stadium on Friday in their eighth District 5-5A game losing 48-31.

“I believe that we need to play better as a team instead of individuals which will allow us to sacrifice for one another on the field,” sophomore Will Glatch said via text. “If we work on the mistakes that we made last week which cost us, we can play as a more competitive whole.”

Coming into the game, both teams stood by an 0-7 record, however, the Coyotes took the win adding one more loss to the Redhawk’s losing streak.

“We came into the game pretty confident,” junior Grayson Clountz said. “We were confident coming in because we have the same amount of losses and we had some good plays.”
