Competing in the Texas Ladies’ Classic Friday and Saturday, girls’ wrestling head west to Frisco High as they square off in their fourth all-day tournament of the season.

Despite having earned her 100th career win, senior Savannah West sees room for improvement no matter her successes.

“I know that I’ve accomplished a lot, but I still have to work hard to do well in this tournament,” West said. “TLC is one of our bigger tournaments so getting 100 wins was a good confidence boost going into a tough tournament. I do feel pressure to win, being that I’m a state runner up and captain of my team. If I don’t win matches I don’t score points for my team, so in that aspect I feel the pressure.”
