School board holds annual reception before meeting

Among the topics discussed at Wednesday’s special meeting of the Frisco ISD Board of Trustees was a potential pay raise for employees and a possible coronavirus stipend.

The districts Board of Trustees will hold their first regular meeting of 2019 on Monday evening, opening to the public at 7:30 p.m. after a closed session. Prior to the meeting, the district will host their annual reception in recognition of its school board members. Students, parents, Frisco residents, and educators are invited as light refreshments and entertainment are available.

Items on the agenda include an update on the ISM Showcase Night and CTE Interactive Open House. Following these events, the board will proceed with regularly scheduled reports.
