Wrestling brings its 2018-19 home season to a close Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. as the Redhawks  host Whitesboro and Heritage on Senior Night at The Nest.

“I’m feeling really excited for senior night,” senior Austin Widner said via text. “Not only will this be my last time wrestling at The Nest, it will also be the only time for this year. I’ve had a lot of great memories with this team and at this school and tonight is meant to pay homage to all of that.”

Competing on the wrestling team throughout her entire high school career, junior Megan Weidenbach will use the night to reminisce over the memories from this season.

“Home duals always get us super excited, but with Senior Night I’m sure a lot of us will have a lot of mixed feelings since a lot of us have a tendency to get super emotional,” junior Megan Weidenbach said via text. “I can’t promise that we’ll get through the night without shedding a few tears for the seniors, but it’ll for sure be a fun night with some tough matches.”
