Ready to ravage the Raccoons, the soccer program takes on Frisco High on Tuesday with the girls’ starting at 7:00 p.m. at home and the boys beginning at 7:15 p.m. at Frisco.

“[Tuesday] we worked on some fundamentals, winning the ball first, possession and creating options,” girls’ head soccer coach Elizabeth Mokler said via email. “I told them practicing isn’t only how you get good, it’s how you stay good. We cannot become complacent, we have to continue to fight if we want to rise to the top.”

While the girls look to add a third win to their District 9-5A record, the boys’ aim to score their first district victory against Frisco.

“We’ve had a bunch to work on,” boys’ head soccer coach Fred Kaiser said. “Our back side defending is getting a lot better, players seem to understand the rules a little better as well. We can always work on transitions, but a big focus for this week is going to be communication.”
