The wrestling team heads west on Rolater Road to battle the Centennial Titans and the Reedy Lions in their last regular season dual meets of the season Thursday at 5:30 p.m.

“We have been practicing all week and really excited,” senior Austin Widner said. “It’s our last duals of the year. We’re preparing mentally and have practiced hard in order to blow Centennial and Reedy out of the water.”

Taking on one of the school’s biggest rivals, the team is ready for its last meet before the District 8-5A tournament Feb.8-9.

“We always want the best competition possible and we believe we have it with Centennial and Reedy,” head coach Cody Bridwell said. “We’re making sure the team knows this is never a walk-over or an easy thing. Centennial always battles us extremely hard and we can’t take any match for granted. We have to treat every one of their guys like they’re a top notch wrestler, because otherwise they’ll sneak back in it and beat us.”
