Odds are, neither Redhawk soccer teams will want to remember the Centennial Titans with the girls’ team tying 2-2 and the boys losing 6-0 Tuesday night.

“We played hard but it’s unfortunate that we didn’t end up coming out with a win,” senior Emma Krilowicz said. “I know that next game we will definitely be really confident and ready to win. I think we got a little freaked out by the fact that they scored pretty early on.”

On the boys’ side, the Redhawks lost hold of their momentum going into the second half, revealing areas in which the team needs to improve.

“We played well in the first half but the second half we lost focused and didn’t work as hard as we should have,” head coach Fred Kaiser said. “We have a lot of things we can be improving on at this point, mostly work rate.”
