Planning pep rallies, dress up days, and doing what it can to bring the school together is just some of the work done by Student Council members every day. Unlike core classes which often require nothing more than a selection on a student’s course card, prospective StuCo members must fill out an application, and complete an interview before they can join the class. But the deadline to apply is today.

“We are looking for those applicants that are willing to work hard for their school group and want to make the school and community a really positive wonderful place to be,” student council teacher julie anderson said. “We want students to engage in our activities on campus and we are looking for members who love liberty and who want to make it the best place possible for students, teachers, and community members.

Applications are available in room E101 and need to be turned by 4:15.

Next year’s Student Council class is expected to be announced by February 25th.
