Bypassing Lebanon Trail defenders, sophomore Allie White(#9) and sophomore Summer Knox(#8) keep their eye on the ball hoping to advance to the goal. Both the girls’ and boys’ teams face off against the Trail Blazers for the second time Friday.

Closing off the first half of their District 9-5A seasons, the Redhawk soccer teams face off against the Lone Star Rangers on Friday with the girls beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Stadium and the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m. at home.

“We are going to go out there and play hard start to finish,” senior Emma Krilowicz said. “We’ll try and be more confident with the ball.”

With the boys’ team looking to gain redemption from their 6-0 loss to Centennial on Tuesday, the team has been putting an emphasis on working harder.

“In order to get a win, the team needs to focus on working,” head soccer coach Fred Kaiser. “I expect the team to work on Friday against Lone Star.”
