The road to state for boys’ basketball came to an end on Friday as the team was defeated by the Kimball Knights 65-57.

“This season I gave everything I possibly had,” senior Zion Richardson said. “Although it wasn’t enough, we still accomplished so much.”

Getting knocked out in the second round of playoffs was devastating for the team, however, underclassmen are hopeful for the future of the Redhawk basketball program.

“It was a tough loss,” sophomore Myson Huff said. “Each one of us left it out on the paint. Until next year, we will compete again, we just have to trust the process.”
