It’s a home doubleheader for baseball as they take on Rockwall-Heath at 3:00 p.m. and Denton Braswell at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

“We have prepared for these games and I am confident that we will perform well,” sophomore Owen Archer said. “We are looking to get some good team wins under our belt this weekend and over the break.”

Following Friday’s matchups, the Redhawks face off against Waco Midway on Saturday at Dr Pepper Ballpark, followed by a home game on Tuesday and away game on Friday against the Memorial Warriors.

“We haven’t proved that we can win consistently yet, so we’re going to have to play our game and stay up in the dugout in order to keep our record,” senior Mitchell Miller said. “We’ve played multiple tournament games against some very good opponents, so I think having a lot of experience winning and losing will help us be better prepared for these district games that really matter.”
