Looking to move up to a 6th place tie with Lebanon Trail in District 9-5A, the softball team fell to the Trailblazers 19-6 in a home game Tuesday night.

The Trailblazers only tallied three more hits than the Redhawks, with each team committing four errors, but Lebanon Trail was able to get a lot more runners on base and drive them in.

“This is Lebanon Trail’s first year with a varsity,” senior Sophie Rodriguez said. “We were looking forward to competing against them and I think we got out and played solid defense and hit the ball well.”
