Looking for a win to solidify a spot in District 9-5A playoffs, the girls’ soccer team takes on the Lone Star Rangers at Toyota Stadium at 5:30 p.m. Friday.

“We are confident in our game on Friday that we will come out with a win,” senior Andrea Chladny said. “We have done what we needed to do to give us the best chance to make it to playoffs and we are waiting to see how other teams perform on Friday.”

In its final District 9-5A match of the 2018-19 season, the Redhawk boys’ soccer team also faces off against the Lone Star Rangers at Toyota Stadium at 7:30 p.m.

“It’s going to be bittersweet,” senior Nicholas Siv said. “It’s the end of an era as this will be my last competitive game.”

Looking to knock the Rangers out of a playoffs spot with a win, senior Justin Parri is determined to make the best of his last high school game.

“For the past eight years of my life soccer has been a big part, and for this to be the last competitive game that I will play,” he said. “It’s a sad thought, but my focus right now is to win the game and end my career on a high note.”
