Taking the stage at the American Airlines Center, Pink performed her Beautiful Trauma World Tour for the DFW area. Despite the long wait, the show still left the audience in awe.

Soaring through the air as the audience danced as if nobody was watching, Pink’s Beautiful Trauma World Tour rocked the American Airlines Center Sunday night.

Giving her fans every reason to come to another one of her shows, she made her grand entrance by dangling from a chandelier in a sparkly black bodysuit. The pink stage matched the artist: loud vibrant, and not afraid to give her piece of mind.

Full of energy, Pink sang and danced, rarely taking a break between songs. Trying to keep pace with the star, the stage changed drastically throughout the concert, going from gigantic dolls in the air, to a bed from above.

The seasoned rock star she is, Pink knows a concert in venues such as the AAC is about more than the artist singing. Prior to “What About Us,” an inspiring video played advocating for change in the world. Featuring many different cultures, politicians, young women, gays, and athletes, the video got fans riled up, joining Pink in the singing of the song.

Part of Pink’s enduring appeal is due to her relatability. Artists like Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez write about heartbreak, but Pink does it with her heart on her sleeve. Performing “Revenge,” the audience could feel the pain she had gone through as she sang her story.

Interacting with the audience and signing albums in the middle of the show, Pink showed why she can still draw crowds more than a dozen years after her first world tour in 2004.
