Both softball and baseball are stepping up to bat Tuesday night in aims to steal a win from their respected competition.

Away from home, baseball will go up against the Lebanon Trail Blazers at Lebanon Trail at 7:15 p.m.

“We’re all eager for a win and to have a good time playing,” senior Mitchell Miller said. “I think we all agree that we have a good shot at getting two W’s this week. Our main goal is to play good defense and hit the ball well to score runs, and the rest will take care of itself.”

The Heritage Coyotes are traveling to Redhawk territory, as softball hopes to strike them out of their seventh place spot in District 9-5A.

“The teams mindset going into the Heritage game tonight is to just have fun,” sophomore Mia Gaines said. “Since it’s our last game of the season but also get out there and do our jobs.”
