Redhawk Theatre’s 3rd annual 24 hour play marathon is on Saturday starting at 3:30 p.m.

“24 hour play marathon is where we get two groups of seniors that we have and we each write our own original show or a play,” senior Liv Goodman said. “On Friday we draw out of a hat from our theater department to decide who’s gonna be in which group and then within 24 hours we block it all, we memorize it, we tell them what to do and then they perform the show the next day at around the same time, so we learn the show in 24 hours.”

Equipped with previous experience in the school’s 24 hour play marathon, Goodman is taking on a new role this year.

“I’m really excited this year, because I’ve been doing it for the past two years and this year I’m a director,” Goodman said. “So, I get to work with my friends Eduardo and Stafford and get to be on the other side instead of acting and doing tech so I’m really excited for it.”
