Football player Myron Huff signed to Missouri Baptist University to continue his athletic career next year during a Signing Day Ceremony in the fieldhouse classroom on Wednesday. Huff believes this opportunity will allow him to improve his play while experiencing a new environment.

Family, friends, coaches, and teammates of senior Myron Huff gathered on Wednesday morning as he signed his National Letter of Intent, committing to continue his football career at Missouri Baptist University.

Wingspan: What school did you choose?

Huff: “Missouri Baptist University.”

Wingspan: Why did you choose this school?

Huff: “I choose this school because I thought it would be the best opportunity for me to proceed my dream of playing college football.”

Wingspan: What aspects appealed to you?

Huff: “The football program and the experience of traveling into a different state.”

Wingspan: What are you expecting from being a college athlete?

Huff: “I expect it to challenge myself to grow in the game of football.”

Wingspan: How long did it take to make this decision?

Huff: “It was a carefully thought-through process with my family of making the right decision.”

Wingspan: What other options were you contemplating?

Huff: “I thought about two other Texas schools, but in the end Missouri was the best for me.”

Wingspan: How do you plan to prepare?

Huff: “I will be training on my own until I start my college football career.”
