Starting the final week in the first round of District 9-5A play, the Redhawk volleyball team faces off against the Heritage Coyotes Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. in The Nest.

“I’m excited to play Heritage; I expect to win,” head volleyball coach Ui Womble said. “I expect to work out all of the little things that we’ve needed to clean up throughout the season.”

Senior Emily Nickell has high expectations for the team, and is looking to use this match to get ready for big games later in the season.

“I am expecting a win, because we have been working so hard in practice,” Nickell said. “I’m hoping we keep pushing to fix everything we need to work on, in preparation for a tough match against Lebanon Trail, and competition in the second round of districts.”
