Filling the risers in the auditorium, choir has their first performance of the school year Tuesday at 7 p.m.

“This is our annual fall concert,” sophomore Shriya Senepathi said. “We do this every year to show our parents and everybody what we’ve done so far, what we’ve learned so far. At the end of the year there’s going to be one big finale concert so they can see how much we’ve improved.”

Sophomore Jane Wester is excited for the performance and is looking forward to sharing the program’s music.

“We have had in-class rehearsals and a lot of advisory rehearsals,” Sophomore Jane Wester said. “And we’ve been working really hard so hopefully I expect it to be pretty good because we’ve been working on this since the beginning of the school year.”

Ultimately director Tony Ugolini believes the students’ work will translate into a successful performance.

“I think they are going to be amazing” Ugolini said. “They’ve been working really really hard and I know that it’s going to be an awesome show for our audience.”
