Holiday drinks shine at Starbucks

Now that it’s December, I decided it was time to try my first Starbucks’ holiday drink. With numerous options to choose from, I decided to order a toasted white hot chocolate.

I went on the day they were giving out cups to customers ordering holiday drinks, and with that cup I would be able to get $.50 off all my orders until January. 

$.50 isn’t much at all, but I bought into it and went back a couple of days later and ordered a peppermint white hot chocolate. Peppermint has never been a flavor favorite of mine but I thought it was worth a try to get into the Christmas holiday spirit. 

Despite not really liking peppermint, I actually ended up liking the drink. The peppermint wasn’t that strong and even if there was more of it, I think I would’ve still liked it. 

There have been some misses on my culinary crusade, but the Starbucks holiday drinks were a hit, and I will be going back to buy more Christmas drinks.
