For the past eight weeks the theatre department has been preparing to perform their second play of the school year.  WTV’s Melody Akbari has the details.

Epic Proportions is the production that theater actors and tech have worked hours on. The play will be performed Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m. with a matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m.  The show will be performed at the same times next week as well.

The cost is $5 for students and $8 for adults; however it is free for all FISD employees

‘The show is about two brothers that leave home in the 1930’s to try to be in the movies,” theatre director Stephanie Winters. “The movie is about the entire history of the world however is fails miserably and it’s really funny everybody always loves the show it’s very short it’s not like a two hour shakespeare play.”

The show is double casted, meaning each week the cast will be different.

The show will be held in the school’s auditorium.
