After trying out potato wraps from Kroger, Girish decided to make them at home. Made of potatoes, milk, and rice flour, these potato wraps turned out better than expected.

Homemade potato wraps

After going through multiple packs of the potato wraps I bought from Kroger, I thought I’d give them a go. To my surprise they turned out really well. The first couple of wraps were squishy on the inside but there were getting burnt on the outside. But I just added a little more flour and the key is to cook them for a longer time in a smaller flame. For the filling I just sautéed some vegetables and added some lettuce leaves and some of my favorite dressings.

Ingredients:

  • Four large potatoes
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 4 tbsp broken rice flour
  • Salt to taste

Directions:

  • Blend the potatoes and the milk until it is a smooth paste
  • Stir the flour into the mixture and add salt to taste
  • Depending on how thin or thick you want you wraps to be you can either add more flour or milk
  • In a hot pan add some butter and pour the batter and spread it around the pan
  • Cool for two minutes on both sides and serve hot
  • For the filling You can sauté onions and mushrooms and once they are cook add bell peppers and zucchini
  • Layer some lettuce, add the sautéed vegetables
  • Add your favorite condiment or dressing and wrap them up.
