With the cost of college at an all time high, the school will have a “Coffee with the Counselors” Friday from 8 – 9 a.m. in the library to discuss college scholarships and financial aid.

The meeting is informational in nature with parents and students welcome to come have coffee and ask the school’s counselors any questions they may have concerning future college plans.

Although scholarships and financial aid are usually only seniors think about, Friday’s “Coffee with the Counselors” is open for all students.

“Regardless of what year they are, they can learn how to plan for financial aid and scholarships,” counselor Karen Wood said.

A representative from Texas A&M will make a presentation at the meeting, but the morning is not limited to scholarships and financial aid for A&M.
