The Liberty Redhawks fell to Denison High School last Friday 20-17 in an overtime thriller.

Senior quarterback Udgam Goyal completed 7 of 21 passes for 78 yards and threw one interception. The Redhawks struggled to throw downfield but had success running the ball against the Yellowjackets defense.

Senior kicker Sanders Bradford connected on two PATs and a field goal.

Denison won the game with a field goal in overtime. Goyal fumbled the ball on the 4-yard line in Liberty’s chance to score during overtime, ending the game.
