After a 11-8 loss against Heritage on Friday, the Redhawk tennis team is working to prepare for their next match where they take on Lebanon Trail High School Tuesday for a District 9-5A match at Liberty at 4:00.

“The team and I have been practicing everyday during and after school to prepare for this match,” sophomore Milla Dopson said.

Hoping to improve her team’s skills for their next match, tennis coach Erica Dopson is running new drills with her team.

We will be working on consistency drills today,” Erica Dopson said. “We are playing the number two team in the state. We will need to be consistent and stay focused.”

Even though Lebanon is currently ranked second in the state, the Redhawks are confident in their ability to play, and hope for a positive outcome.

“I think we will do pretty well in the upcoming match,” Milla Dopson said. “Lebanon is a pretty tough team so it will be close.”
