Starting a month later than normal, the volleyball team traveled to Weatherford for its first match of the year with the Redhawks falling 3-1 ( 25-19, 23-25, 22-25, 17-25) Tuesday night.

“The team is working hard to prepare for districts,” senior Caityln Brown said. “Coach Oberle is introducing us to many new drills.”

The team is back in action on Friday as the team hosts Bishop Lynch at 5:45 p.m.

With the team having one game to look back on, head coach Clark Oberle is planning on changing some things.

I am trying to speed our offense up,” Oberle said. “Make it less predictable and play great defense.”
