The Redhawks compete in their second to last scheduled meet of the season with hopes of qualifying for state this Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at Wylie High School.

“We have had some tough workouts this and last week to prepare us for what we will be up against this meet,” sophomore Andrew Jáuregui said via text.

Along with the workouts, the team feels they have an advantage this week as they are running the exact same course as last week.

“I have high hopes for our performance, as we are running the same course as last week,” Jáuregui said. “I’m hoping the muscle memory will give as an edge over the other teams who ran elsewhere.”
