Wingspan: What’s your favorite part about being captain?
Clark: “I love getting to run practices and help all of the teams.”
Wingspan: What responsibilities come with being captain?
Clark: “We run practices, plan games, help communicate with different squads, and lead games and performances.”
Wingspan: What is your favorite part about cheer?
Clark: “The football games are my favorite part right now because we’re winning so they’re extra fun.”
Wingspan: Do you have a pregame routine?
Clark: “We sometimes listen to music on the bus to get us excited and in a good mood.”
Wingspan: What is y’all’s goal for this season?
Clark: “Our goal is to just hype up the students and football team and bring the school together and also prepare for our UIL competition.”
Wingspan: Can you describe what it’s like cheering at football games?
Clark: “There’s lots of energy feeding off the field and we put it towards the crowd. It’s super exciting and makes me happy.”
Wingspan: What is your favorite thing to do with your team?
Clark: “I love stunting and performing with the team”
Wingspan: Can you describe what a typical practice looks like?
Clark: “We change, stretch, run jumps, and currently we are practicing our UIL routine, then we do stunts and game day cheers, and sometimes we finish with an ab workout.”
Wingspan: When not cheering, what do you like to do?
Clark: “I love hanging out with my friends and family and just being with people.”
