There were mixed results for the volleyball team this past weekend as they fell to the Centennial Titans 3-2 (19-25, 25-22, 26-28, 25-18, 10-15) on Friday and defeated Lone Star 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-16) on Saturday.

“Our weekend was not the best set of games we played,” senior Sue Slater said. “We had players out (Paeton Davis)  because of different injuries and we had players (Franny Trezza) get hurt this weekend, and I think that through everyone off.”

With the team having only one week left in the regular season, they are looking to do everything they can to secure a playoff spot.

“We have three games left,” Slater said. “And we won’t know if we are in the playoffs until later this week. So for the meantime we are going to work extremely hard in every aspect of our game, to better our chances.”
