The Redhawks wrangled the Lone Star Rangers Tuesday night at The Nest. The team fell short in the first set, but was able to win the night 3-1 (17-25, 25-15, 25-19, 25-20).

“The first set was frustrating when we lost to them,” senior Caityln Brown said. “But we regrouped between the sets, and figured out what we needed to do to win.”

The Redhawks need to win Saturday’s game against Memorial to guarantee a third place spot, and have the best chance at a long playoff run. “If we win on Saturday then we won’t have to play Lovejoy the first round of playoffs,” junior Tanner Hanson said. “They have beat us out three years in a row, so we want to play them as late as possible.
