Hoping to serve up a win, the Redhawks take on McKinney North in the first round of the UIL 5A playoffs at 6:30 p.m. on Friday at Hebron High School.

“Last game we did a good job serving aggressively which kept the other team out of system for the most part,” senior Lauryn Hill said via text.

To prepare for their upcoming game, the team plans on watching film to get a leg up on their competition.

“I’m going to watch the film so I know what spots are open and what’s going to be the most effective way to score to help us win the game,” Hill said.

Counting on their ability to stay in control of the ball, the team is confident in their chance to take home another win.

“I think it’s going to be a good game but if we play our game and stay clean we will come out on top,” Hill said. “We have to control what we can and show up.”
