Girls’ caged the Coyotes, while boys’ fell short

Both teams took on the Heritage Coyotes Tuesday night. While the girls’ were able to bounce back from their loss Friday, the boys fell short.

Both basketball teams were back in action Tuesday night against Heritage High School

The girls’ team were able to defeat the Coytes 38-21 to improve their District 9-5A record to 4-1..

“We are spending all of practice trying to mentally get better and limit the mistakes we are making”, senior Zoe Junior said.”

As for the boys’ team, they weren’t able to cage the Coyotes as they fell short to fall to 1-2 in District 9-5A play. 

“We are really just spending these early games trying to figure out what we need to work on,” senior Connor Hulstein said. “We have a long season ahead of us, that hopefully includes playoffs, so figuring out what we need to fix now will help us achieve our goals.’
