Boys’ soccer saw an end to their run in playoffs Friday. Ending their season, the team is proud of their accomplishments and ability to go as far as qualifying for round one of UIL playoffs.

After two weeks off for winter break, the soccer teams kick off the 2021 season with District 9-5A games against Memorial High school Tuesday, both at 5:00 p.m., with the girls playing at home, and the boys’ team heading to Memorial.

“Things look good in our scrimmages, hopefully it translates into the games,” boys’ head coach Fred Kaiser said. “We have been working on typical stuff like communication, and work rates off-the-ball movement.”

Like most things this year, the season will be a bit different due to COVID-19.

‘We have a lot more planning and a heck of a lot more paperwork,” Kaiser said. “Obviously, you got to keep an eye on you know the player’s health and schedules can get modified and we have a new ticketing system in play so just a lot of changes but, I mean, everybody else in Frisco is going through the same stuff. It is what it is, and it comes along to the job.”
