The Redhawks basketball teams are hoping to take down the Titans Friday in District 9-5A play as they drive down the street to Centennial High School, with the girls tipping off at 6:30 p.m., followed by the boys at 8:00 p.m.

For senior Myson Huff, this game is a chance for him and his team to prove themselves and boost their record (2-7).

“We take practices very seriously,” Huff said via text. “We stretch a lot and perfect all of our plays so we won’t have any issues in games.”

However, for the girls’ team, coach Ross Reedy is most excited for a chance to see what his team can do.

“We are feeling encouraged and excited about playing a team that is really solid and respected,” Reedy said. “We’re eager to find out more and more about ourselves, which playing a good opponent always allows slash force revelations.”
